Residents of Kavilinguni Sub-location have received a major boost in their quest for food security and economic empowerment following the stocking of 10,000 fish fingerlings at Kwa Nduu Earth Dam. The initiative was led by Hon. Francis Mwangangi, who joined H.E. the Governor in reaffirming the county government's commitment to improving the livelihoods of local communities through sustainable aquaculture.
The fish stocking exercise marks another important step in maximizing the potential of earth dams beyond water storage. By introducing fish farming, the county is transforming the dam into a productive economic resource that will provide long-term benefits to families living around the area.
